life with two

When your first kid is born, you sort of hibernate for a month or two until you realize that life must go on and you must return to society... or at least I did.  Then I spent the next 20 months figuring out how to be a mom.  Then the next kid was born.  No hibernating this time. Almost-two-year-olds don't lounge around the house "enjoying" their new baby brothers.  So we just keep on, keepin' on.  Now I can stop figuring out how to be a mom and start figuring out how to be a mom of two.  Gee whiz, I'm still learning how to be a wife!

That's about all I got... Short posts better than no posts at all, I say.

Leah-You're doing great. From what I know, you never really have the "mom" "mom of two" or "mom of three" down or even the wife role really. It's a constant learning process and there will be days that end with you saying, "never doing that again." What I do know if that humor and grace are of vital importance to a mom of any # of kids. :)
