DINK?

Recently, Matt and I ran into one of our friends from church at a restaurant. She has two kids, and when we saw her, her hubby was out of town, so she was handling the chaos on her own. I was not envious when her <1 yr old kept throwing his spoon on the floor repeatedly. Anyway, in the middle of her meal she came over to us and said, "Enjoy your DINK status while it lasts."

For those who don't know, DINK= Double Income No Kids. Hmmm.

After she left, Matt looked at me and said, "The only reason we are DINKs is because I work two jobs."

This is the truth. But after some thought, I would like to take the credit for not having kids.
