Yeah SO... crazy awesome house stuff!

Oh my goodness! We have had a crazy whirlwind of a weekend. :) Our original goal was to have the house on the market by Thursday, but the painters couldn't make it out till Thursday.  I was a little bummed because they didn't finish on Thursday, they finished on Friday like around 6 PM.  Yeah, so later than we planned.  But I kept reminding myself that we felt CONFIDENT of the Lord's leading to new neighborhood, and therefore we ought to trust that He was going to sell our house and we need not worry about timing.

That being said... on Friday, the in-laws took our children all afternoon so we could get the house ready... we worked, worked, worked- took pictures, cleaned, finished yardwork, cleaned, rearranged furniture, staged the house, replaced front door hardware, fixed kitchen sink hardware, cleaned, cleaned and cleaned.  By 8PM when it was time to pick the kids up, we were not finished... so we took kids to my dad's house (cause they couldn't sleep in paint fumes), put them to sleep there, and came BACK over to our house to finish.

By 2 AM we were FINALLY in the car, finished, headed back to my dad's house to post pictures (iPhone pictures at that) and go active on the MLS.  (Fortunately, Matt had already started the listing so we weren't writing the whole thing at 2AM.)  By 3AM we were all finished loading pics, etc. and we went to sleep!!

We came back to the house to hang a couple of pictures and put a lockbox on around 9:30 AM.  (Lockboxes cannot be opened at 2AM for safety reasons, so we weren't able to put lockbox on the night before.)  At 9:45AM, we get our first call from realtor, who was coming at 10:30... so we spent the next 45 minutes (with our kids in the house) FURIOUSLY doing dumb stuff like sweeping the driveway....

The realtor and people in her car showed up 5 minutes early (my kind of people), and I was sweeping the driveway (our kids were loaded in running car), and Matt literally grabbed the broom out of my hand, stuck it in the back of the car, and we got in and drove off--- later finding out that Matt had left his key to the front door IN the lock.  Way to go babe. :)  Anyway...

The same realtor called back a little later to ask if they could see the house again (and to ask a couple of questions), and by 3 PM (note: TWELVE HOURS AFTER WE LISTED HOUSE), we had a FULL PRICE OFFER.  Pretty sure Matt cried.

We had about five showings in the first two days, but God wanted to keep me humble and remind me that HE was doing this, and it wasn't our awesome real-estate skills that brought us an offer (and therefore even with all the showings, only one turned into an offer).

By Sunday night we got all the details of the contract worked out, and now we are officially PENDING.  Every detail of this whole thing has been perfect-- from close dates to everything.

I could share so many of those little details, but I think this is long enough already.  Right now, I am thanking God for giving us a clear-calling.  Soon I will post pictures of new house!

someone else's home...

I think the emotions of dealing with a move are starting to set in... We are hoping to list our house by tomorrow or Saturday (later than we wanted). Anyway, one of the perks of having a real estate agent (an awesome one) as my hubby is that I can go back and view any listing EVER.  So after perusing around what's happening as far as houses go in our neighborhood, I looked up the listing of this house (our current home) when we bought it back in 2007.

Y'all, I'm not a cryer, but I got teary-eyed.  I was sitting there looking at pictures of our house when we bought it... but it wasn't our house yet.  Someone else's furniture, someone else's decor (which I wasn't really fond of)... someone else's life.  Seriously.  And if you want to know the truth, I am sad about the fact that I probably spent the first three years not being thankful for this house.  (That has changed... this girl here got herself an attitude adjustment and some good ol' thankfulness.)

But anyway, I sat there and looked at those pictures - the ones that were taken before this became OUR home - and I think, man, how could I have known how many sweet memories we would make in this house?  How could I have possibly known what emotional attachment you can have to something JUST BECAUSE your babies came home from the hospital to this little house?  But it's not just bringing the babies to a house... it's the fact that we have brought them up (to this point) in THIS home.  We love each other in our home every.single.day.  Henry LOVES being home.

We know this, but we learned it really well over spring break this year.  We had gone to visit my mom in Alabama, and on the way home Henry was SO fussy- like fussier than ever- (turned out to be a double ear infection).  But even though he was in immense pain, I hope I never forget how happy he was when we got out of that car and were finally HOME.  Something about the fact that my kids love this place and that it's their home makes me all the more emotional...

And now for the downer... it's going to become someone else's home.  Ugh, yall - what is the deal?  This crying thing is really not me! (But aren't you glad to see I have a sentimental side?)

I know a couple of you have moved houses after having little kiddos, and I know based on your blogs that it was emotional for you too.  So I'm glad I'm not crazy.  Typically I think my response would be to just ignore the feelings, but as I have emptied out my house of all clutter (which I have now decided makes houses feel like homes) and many toys are gone and cabinets and closets are empty (or just less full if I'm being honest)... I can't not be sad.  It is so SAD for me!

So in this last month or so, I am just going to give thanks.  In all my sadness... give thanks for the new home, give thanks for this wonderful blessing of a home that I could never have known what a blessing it would be... and not look at things behind, but look forward to the things God has ahead... the new home, the good works which he prepared beforehand that we should walk in them (Eph 2:10).  He has given us grace in this ol' house... and he will continue to give us grace as we move on from here.  Praise the Lord that HE never changes, and that he is with us wherever we are.

this one's for me (child update)

With the hustle and bustle of getting our house on the market, I haven't take the time to slow down and record what's going on with my sweet, growing, developing BOYS! And if I don't record it, I will forget it, so that's what this is...

Sam is a CRAZY BOY.  One, he is way hyper and interested in EVERYTHING going on!  He is still a loud cryer, and will literally be hammin' it up one minute and screaming his head off the next - it's like "BOOM!  I'm hungry mom, and there's no going back!  I want bottle NOW!"  But he's so distracted... usually like 1 minute into his bottle he wants to put it down and start crawling after something.

He started WAVING!  It is so adorable!  Of course we thought it was a fluke at first, but then I noticed he was really doing it when people come and go.  So fun!  He is also getting AROUND.  I had a dream last night that he just started walking on his own... not quite happening, but the kid is SO stable...  he has "cruised" on furniture, but not really cruised, more like just taken a step or two, usually to get to something he wants!  (Can't believe he's going to be 8 months old in two weeks-ish.)

He tumbles ALL the time... bangs his head and gets up like nothing ever happened.  Poor Henry is gonna have to get tough before long - just so he can deal with his tough bro.

Fun story... TWICE NOW, Sam has snagged Henry's peanut butter sandwich... the first time, he didn't get any in his mouth, but it was all over his hands... The second time, that PB sandwhich was IN HIS MOUTH. Yikes.  Mom of the year.

Next... Henry update!

Henry is just talking our ears off and surprising us everyday with the things he says- it kind of makes me sad that I can't remember some of it, but he is sounding like a little person!  Bittersweet.  (I'll have to write a post completely devoted to the little things he says, but it will take some remembering/recording for that to happen.)

He also had enough of pee-peeing on the potty... as soon as we stopped freaking out and overly praising him after each time, he was over it...  We will probably try potty training before the summer is over.

He still goes in and out of separation anxiety phases, which - not gonna lie, can sometimes make life hard on this mama (read: I do not like it).  We learned he does not like change... he LOVED going to his Sunday school class, and then they switched the classes up and he got moved to a new room, and he C.R.I.E.D.  He definitely has some security that comes from his routine and when that's messed, he starts to unravel a little... I think he is feeling insecure while we are packing up our house right now... He's following me around and clinging a lot.  Hoping that we can get him feeling more secure by the time he's off to preschool in the fall. :)

Kiddo LOVES to sing.  He sings to himself (which is kinda like Matt) all the time.  ABCs, Muffin Man, Frosty the Snowman, Jesus loves me, Jesus loves the little children, Twinkle Twinkle, and to top it all off "Tonight, Tonight" by Hot Chelle Ray. :)

That's way more than enough for now.

We are moving! What the what!?

Let me just dive in and share the whole story.  Let's start in 2009.  Matt and I were wanting to move to this little neighborhood we like.  There was a house on the market there that hadn't sold.  We decided to put in a very low-ball offer and see what happened.  Our offer was not accepted, so we countered at a higher price (but still low-ball).  Seller did not accept.  Eventually (few months later) the seller's agent called us because he was going to be dropping the price.  We prayed about it and did not feel any peace about putting in a new offer.  The seller of that house ended up selling it for like $15,000 less than our original offer.

Over the last three years, we have gone back and forth about whether or not we really want to move to this neighborhood.  Wait, no, I have gone back and forth.  Matt has always liked it.  So last fall we checked out some houses in Cedar Park (per my request), and after making the drive out there, I just didn't think I could do it.  SO, this is when I seriously started praying that God would direct my heart to where he wanted us to move, IF he wanted us to move at all.  Cause we could totally stay in our current house if He was leading that way.

Sometime in the last 6 months, my heart just got set on original neighborhood again.  I don't know why.  I do think it was prayer.  Then we started to think/plan/question how this was gonna all go down.  The houses in this neighborhood tend to go fast, and we knew that we would need to know exactly what we wanted and make a fast move, should a good/acceptable house come on the market.  One thing about us - we don't make fast moves.  I take that back. MATT doesn't make fast moves.  I am impulsive, Matt is calculative.  We work well together, I promise.  So honestly, we could not say how this was all gonna work out.

Would we list our house first?  Would we just get our house market ready and list as soon as we saw what we wanted?  Should we send a letter to all potential sellers in the neighborhood to tell them we want to buy?  How should we do this?

So, brilliant us. Not. God is brilliant.  He put it on my heart to just straight up ASK for a house (or a heart change).  So we did - literally pray together that God would give us a house, or change our hearts.  I bet it was not even two weeks later that this all started to go down...

My mom was in town and we were driving through the desired neighborhood.  I was showing to her where some of our friends lived and some of the houses that we had gone to see in the hood.  I was on the way to show her the ONLY house on the market in the neighborhood when Sam started SCREAMING in the car.  Ooops - I forgot to make him a bottle, he's hungry.  So we went to stop at Walgreens and get him a bottle and some formula.  Fixed it, then once he was quiet, I headed back to the hood to show her that house (just driving by).

She wanted to look at the flyer for the house so I could show her the floorplan, etc.  So she grabbed a flyer, then we drove up the street and parked in front of a random house to look at it.  As we were sitting there, the lady who lived in the random house had just pulled into her driveway, and she looked at us like, "Why you creeping on me?"  Haha.  So I rolled down my window to tell her that we weren't creepers, but we were just looking at houses.

Immediately she responds, "OH!  Well I have a friend a couple blocks away who just found her dream house, and she's moving.  She wasn't planning on moving, but now she has to sell her house."  So then she looks at her phone and says, "I don't have her number on this phone, but let me see if I have it on my car phone." Yes, she had a car phone.  So this lady proceeds to get the number and call her friend all while I'm sitting in my car, kids in the back on the verge of a meltdown.  And while I'm thinking I can just get the homeowner's name and number, she's setting up an appointment for me to go look at the house, oh, RIGHT NOW.

I'll be honest, I really did not want to get out and go look at the house, because the chances of this turning into something (in my mind) seemed small.  For one, many of the houses in the hood are too small for what we want, and many of them are old and outdated.  But because she had called the homeowner, I decided to go over there... My mom stayed in the car with the boys because I thought I'd be in and out in five minutes. But as soon as I stepped in the house, I knew that it was a good one and that Matt would need to see it too.  So five minutes turned into 45, and my mom and the boys ended up coming inside too.

Side note: When I started praying for a house, I ALSO had started praying that I would not have to do any pressing or prodding to get Matt interested.  Since I tend to be impulsive, we may have bought 20 houses in the last five years (had it been my own decision).  So my prayer was that Matt would take the lead, and God would get glory in me just dropping the reigns.

So I called Matt to tell him he needed to go see it.  He was on his way back to work from something, and he was able to stop by the house in literally 20 minutes after I left.  After he saw it, he was just as excited as I was... something that doesn't happen EVER!  This was all happening on a Thursday.  By Sunday, we had seen the house again and put in an offer.  (Thursday to Sunday for me was a constant prayer/battle that I would not tell Matt to put in an offer but that HE would want to do it and that I would just follow his lead as He followed God.) It took a couple weeks before the sellers got back to us about the price, etc. but as of yesterday, we have a signed contract!  I just think God is so generous in the details of how this has worked out up to this point.  Note to all - this house wasn't even on the market yet.  How cool is that?

That is why I am trusting Him to find a buyer for our lovely house, which I am sure I will forever cherish!  We are working to get it on the market in the next couple of weeks, and we have a tentative close date on house #1 in early September.  CRAZY!

And if you are interested, the new neighborhood is probably ten short minutes from our current house, it's within walking distance from Matt's office, and it's right around where we like to do life!  You know, God would be enough for us even if we had to move out to, oh I dunno, Hutto or WACO.  But I just feel like He is so kind in this - in directing and then meeting the desire of our hearts.  We really do just want Him to get all praise, not just for doing this but in our lives in general.  Woohoo!

P.S. If you know anyone who wants a "charming" 3/2 1800 sq ft house in North Austin, send them our way!!

thanks buddy

You may recall that Henry comes into our room every single night in the middle of the night.  You may also recall that we purposely unlock his door before we go to bed so he has the freedom to do this.  However, this is probably gonna stop, oh, TONIGHT.  Ya see, what used to be a relatively low maintenance scenery change at 2:30 AM has turned into a mom-do-this-mom-do-that-or-else-I'll-never-fall-back-asleep routine.

So Henry pitter patters into our room around 2:30.  Then he proceeds to whisper off requests.  "Mama turn that way." Which means, stop facing the direction you normally face when you sleep and face me.  Then, "Hand. Hand." Which means hold my hand... and not just "hold my hand" but scratch my hand and my ear and my arm and don't you dare try to rest that wrist down on the bed while you are scratching.  And recently we've added "I want water mama" to the checklist of requests that are required before Henry falls back asleep.

So last night, I'm telling you I was SO TIRED.  I was not up for it.  But he asked for water like 50 times in a row.  (Matt sleeps through this entire thing, mind you.  UGH- DADS!)  So I like stomped out of bed, "FINE!  I'll GET YOU SOME WATER!"  I get up, fix him water, hand it to him, he sweetly replies, "Thank you mama."  I feel a little remorse for being so upset that I had to get out of bed, and then about 15 minutes later, Henry is fast asleep.

Meanwhile, I can't go back to sleep for the life of me, so I try really hard NOT to check the clock, then finally give in and it's almost 4:00.  Maybe it would be easier to sleep on the couch where I am not sharing a pillow with my toddler?  Nope, still can't fall back asleep.

Original plan this morning was to wake up at 5:30 to go to the gym since I'm supposed to be training for a half marathon and completing 50 consecutive pushups.  Instead I got there at 4:30.  I was finished with my workout by 5:15 and home by 5:30, so I took a shower, climbed back in bed and slept till 8... begged Matt to please take care of Sam so I could get more than 3.5 hours total of sleep.

Right, so needless to stay he's staying in his room tonight.  Door is staying LOCKED.  Also, needless to say, I am going to take a nap right now. Since both of my boys are sleeping at the same time.  God is showing some serious mercy right now.

Good night.

2 out of 30! Woo hoo!

I have officially completed a "do it yourself" project that I am proud to show off! When you are an amateur at crafts, easy does it. So I sponge painted a canvas with one of my favorite Psalms on it. Since I am a little bit less than a perfectionist, I had to go back and cover up the yellow because there was not enough of a contrast... I forgot to get the whole progression captured on iPhone, but here's what I did get...

I kind of think it would look better completely gray, but I don't have enough color in my life as it is (hence, the black wardrobe, gray walls in my house, etc.) so I left it with the blue and green and yellow.

BUT, I was actually quite an overachiever last night... I started another DIY project that I am going to be glad to show off!!  It is not finished yet, but I will give you a hint... it starts with this boring lampshade.

the shirt(s) that won't die

I have this black shirt I got at Banana Republic probably about 5 years ago.  It is wonderful and stretchy and best of all, BLACK.  I have worn it through about week 30 in BOTH pregnancies.  I wear it multiple times a week when I am pregnant AND when I am not pregnant... it is perfect.  It stretches, but it always goes back to it's normal shape.  It can be dressed up or dressed down.  It is forgiving for a mama who has had two kids.  It flatters my broad-shouldered figure. A few years back, the shirt got some holes, no big deal - I wear a black camisole underneath.  It is my wardrobe crutch.  My bad habit.  My uniform.  But I won't lie, it's starting to look a little shabby.  It needs to be retired... Multiple times it has gone to the goodwill pile.  Just as many times it has come out.  It has also gone to the pajama drawer... only to be hung back up in the closet with the rest of the team.

Me in my uniform.  I hate this pic of myself btw.  And don't you dare tell me I'm vain.  I am well aware thankyouverymuch.
Here's me wearing the same shirt after Henry's surgery... notice the camisole underneath, ignore the white nursing bra, lack of makeup and general yuckiness of this photo... as you can see, my child had just had surgery.
But if we're being honest... I actually have TWO additional black shirts that also refuse to die. One was purchased after Henry was born at Nordstrom Rack- not too bad, and I wore it throughout my last pregnancy, but so much that it almost has a permanent "I've been worn too many times" smell. (That one is not pictured.)

The other one? Also from Banana, and I've literally had it since my Junior year of college. Literally. Since 2004.  Almost 9 years, and I probably wore it twice a week this past winter (long sleeved).  That is value, people.  If only I had known, I would have purchased 10 of them.

That's me in the middle, on New Years 2005, looking much younger, but wearing the same black shirt that I still own and wear...

Me in the same shirt, Christmas 2010.
I have often times considered getting rid of them JUST so I wouldn't have the wardrobe crutch, but alas have not been able to bring myself to do it...

Do you have clothes, items, bad habits that you can't part with or am I the only weirdo around here?

confessions

Blog post inspired by Allison.

Sometimes before we leave the house I strap both kids in the car in the driveway, turn the AC on, and then finish cleaning up the house.  Sometimes they sit in the car for 10-20 minutes before we actually leave the house.  (Don't worry, I check on them VERY periodically.)

Yesterday, I was going to try to start my week of no caffeine (as planned on my 30 before 30 list), but then 7 AM happened.  I have had about five cups of coffee since then.  Maybe next week?

I have been known to laugh at my own blog posts.  And then read and re-read them over and over.  And then laugh to myself later on when I think about something I wrote.  Yeah, I guess I think I'm hilarious.

Yesterday, I wasn't sure if Sam was actually tired, but I really needed a nap, so I just stuck him in his crib with a bottle and called it a night... I turned up the noise machine and turned off the baby monitor so I could get some good ol' shut-eye.  When I woke up he was asleep.  Mission accomplished?

Earlier this year, I backed up into a car in the Mr. Gatti's parking lot.  This is actually two confessions - one, we were ordering pizza from Mr. Gatti's. Two, I hit a car.  No worries, we went inside and told the man we hit his car, and he didn't even care... he let us go.  Third confession, we gave him a $25 visa gift card that we already had in my wallet... we would have given him the $75 one, except it said "Merry Christmas Matt and Leah" on it.  Also, Matt reminded me of this incident when I was hassling him about rolling through the stop sign... and (fourth confession) I had almost completely forgotten about it.

There are more where this came from, but I'll leave it at this for now...  Thanks for the inspiration, Allison!

I like to post 10 times in one day.

Seriously guys. I totally got to eat my words making fun of that dumb e-card.  That's what I get for being sassy.  But while we are on the sassy topic, let me just tell you another sassy story.

Today, Matt rolled through a stop-sign RIGHT in front of a cop, who proceeded to pull us over.  I was with him.  Let me be honest for a second here.  I was a little bit of a naggy wife. "Umm, did you SEE the cop there?"  Why did you roll through the stop sign?!"  and "I was going to warn you that the cop was there, but I stopped myself because I didn't want to nag you, but it seems like I made the wrong decision!" "That's what you get - you ALWAYS roll through stop signs!"

Matt would totally have been sweet to me if the situation was reversed.  So while the cop was writing the ticket, I was bickering with Matt- I could hear myself being sassy and dumb, but I just wouldn't let. it. go.  Then the cop (woman cop) came back to the window and told Matt he was getting a warning.  And then she said, "You're too polite to get a ticket." BOO YA, LEAH!

Dear self, why must you always be Miss Sassy Pants?  It always comes back to bite me. I'm convinced he flashed her the baby blues, but he promises that he didn't.  I'm skeptical... Cougars are always gettin' giddy over Matt's eyes.

Regardless

Jen pointed out to me that the e-card actually says "only trust people who like big butts... They cannot lie." Okay so that's really not any better because the song does not say that everyone who likes big butts cannot lie... He says that HE cannot lie. So in my personal opinion, the e-card is still dumb. You are welcome!

let's chat, shall we?

First thing is first. Happy 7 months to my sweet HAM!  He decided this past week that he needed to 1- successfully crawl on his hands and knees (albeit very slowly) 2- pull up on tons of furniture all the time 3- become skilled at holding his own bottle (very important as we were running out of duct tape - jk jk jk haha).  Seriously though, I have no doubts this kid will be running away from me at the park in no time. ;)  I'm proud of my little Hammy, whose name Henry can now successfully pronounce.  Tear.  Why must they grow up?

Next, let's have a little heart to heart.  There's this e-card going around on Pinterest.  It says, "Only trust people with big butts... they cannot lie."  Umm, this bothers me for obvious reasons, but if you must make me state the obvious... the SONG LYRICS are not, as the e-card suggests, "I like big butts and they cannot lie."  The lyrics are "I like big butts and I cannot lie." Forgive me for being picky.  Perhaps this is why people call me sassy.

Happy Sunday.  Till we meet again.

Happy 4th of July!

I went to the gym at the crack of dawn this morning because I couldn't sleep, and on my way home I had the windows rolled down (courtesy of really stinky car due to spilled milk that sat in 100º heat yesterday) when low and behold... Lee Greenwood.  Proud to be an American.  It came blaring through my car radio.  Flashback.  I felt 17 again.  Wait, isn't that the name of a movie?

On that note, I just googled Zac Efron and apparenty he's an Auburn Fan. War Eagle.  (Excuse me, my brother and mother and grandparents went there.  I can't be a fan anymore though because A&M is now in the SEC. And don't ask me for my opinions on that cause I don't really care.)

I'm getting off topic.  So it's 4th of July, and that was a great way to start my morning if I might say so. Thank you, Lord.  He knows how to make me smile.

Oh and before I forget.  Happy Birthday to Matt - he turned 29 yesterday, and he's not making a 30 before 30 list like me.  Lame, but I love him anyway.

Because this blog is about sharing, I am going to share with you more (very random) pictures and pinterest finds that I thought were worth sharing over the last couple of weeks!  You're welcome, those of you who have no attention span for long posts.  I do it for you.

I was cleaning out my medicine cabinet the other day... ya think we have enough off-brand Robitussin?
Hi, my name's Sam.  I can pull up.  But if we're being totally honest, my mom put me in this position.
They are fascinated with each other.
Made me laugh.
Henry and I made a daddy crocodile, mommy crocodile and baby crocodile with blocks.  I bet you could tell that's what it was.
In case you didn't believe that I made calzones. Boo ya.
bahaha.
Henry and his sweet friend at the splash pad.
It's true.  God uses us in spite of ourselves.
Remember when I told you that I think inspiration quotes are a little cheesy?  (Funny given previous picture...)  Well this made me laugh a little... Hahaha.

so I exaggerate, so what? (10 random paragraphs)

  1. Yeah, so based on hair pics you can see that I am a littttttle bit of a drama queen, but doesn't that make it fun?  Truly I tell you, as long as I curl my hair, it looks okay... but if I leave it straight, I look either punk rocker or middle-aged-tomboy.  And if I'm being honest, it looked way worse when I walked INTO the salon than it did when I came out so...
  2. SO, Sam decided he would start PULLING UP on his crib - what the what?  I was not ready for that.  And I feel beyond thankful that God had me looking on his monitor when he did it because that kid could have just toppled out of there... reminds me of the time I let mobile little Henry sleep on my bed when I was in the shower, only to hear him crying on the floor later cause he had rolled right off.  Awesome.
  3. But back to business here.  (For the record, BUSINESS = TOTAL RANDOMNESS, just so we're on the same page.)
  4. I made the Pioneer Woman's Calzone's tonight, and I am like super-proud of myself.  It is funny, I am proud of myself ANYTIME I cook something new.  I should do that more often - great confidence booster.
  5. I do not have any more 30 before 30 to cross of right now, but I have some in progress.  Interested?  Okay - well I have already started the half marathon training and plan to run one on 11/11/12 in San Antonio.  I have started to memorize Romans 6-8.  Our trip to Gulf Shores is planned.  And I have an idea for a Bible Study to write!  I have literally flossed every single day at least once, sometimes twice AND I have cut the sugary candy by a lot.  But there's a lot on that list I need to get to doin'. Like for instance, push ups?  Matt keeps telling me to get started... I really need to get started.  I'm a little nervous about that one. And to be honest, when I was in the best shape of my life I could probably do 25 in a row, MAYBE 30, maybe.  SOOOO... Yeah 50= I'm nervous.
  6. If you were wondering, I don't read fiction books very often.  I have basically read Christian-Non-Fiction for like the last 10 years of my life.  That's why I put the fiction books on there.  Variety is good, right?  So I am thinking Hunger Games, but I guess we will see.  And as far as classical fiction - Great Gatsby? Scarlet Letter? I don't know... I "read" them in High School but hardly remember any of it because I really just cared about getting the grades.
  7. Speaking of High School.  How did my two best friends and I get stuck planning our 10 year reunion?  Not sure, but since I am such a party animal, we know it's gonna be WILD!!!
  8. On that note, I saw this on Pinterest and I could not agree more...
