In my google reader that is... which doesn't really mean anything to you unless you know how many different feeds I subscribe to, etc. But, I will tell you that it means I have been absent from blog world for awhile. And OH how I have missed my
bloggy friends! Those who are left of you anyway...
I know you guys have all been dying to figure out what I've been up to, since you are obviously extremely concerned about my life, but I'm going to spare you and just say I've been more busy than I prefer to be. (Because I usually prefer to have nothing mandatory scheduled ever.) :)
People keep telling me my baby looks like an old man. Everyone says that, which is funny. In my dad's words, "Baby look at your daddy, this is what you will look like when you grow up." And then, "Matt, look at baby, this is what you will look like when you grow up."
I just hope that I won't have to change Matt's diapers.
Also, no one calls baby by his name. They all call him "Little Matt." He does look like Matt. It's a little bit scary. Here's a recent pic that we think is hilarious.
Look at that face! That's his fake cry face.
Anyway, you might think I am crazy, but I realized the other day that I am not in the pregnant club anymore. And, it's sort of sad not to be in the pregnant club. Yes, I did enter the mom club and the parent club, but the pregnant club is much more exclusive. No, I am not wishing I was pregnant, but maybe just experiencing small doses of nostalgia. Can you believe it? Women are crazy.
Side note: You should know... after a few visits to a mom's group through my church, let me tell you, MOMS are GENIUSES. After just a few visits, I now have creative solutions to certain challenges that I've been dealing with my whole life... and to challenges that I've encountered in motherhood... What kind of challenges and the solutions? Well, you'd have to be in the mom club for me to tell you. Or you'd have to come visit me in person. ;)
